UFC president Dana White long has labeled Canada as a "mecca of a mixed martial arts," but Australia doesn't appear to be too far behind.UFC officials today announced that tickets for the promotion's return to Australia at UFC 127 sold out in just 30 minutes, equaling a record set this past June at UFC 115 in Canada.
"UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch" takes place Feb. 27 at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. The same venue also hosted the UFC's Australian debut, UFC 110, which took place this past February.
