Well, just under 4 weeks to go now. Ive actually entered and paid my money and said Im entering at under 73kgs. That means I need to get down to weight sharpish. A weeks ago last Wednesday I was 79kgs and as of right this minute I am down to 74.5kgs which is pretty damn good going. I've done it with an intensive amount of cardio training at the gym and cutting out a lot of carbs from my diet whilst focussing on scoffing protein. Ive basically been living on Tuna, Chicken and Salmon all week whch is kind of nice really.
Anyway, we had a great session at the club on Wednesday night, the Edinburgh uni guys and gals came through and we had loads of people there, unfortunately I was totally and utterly drained from my weight shedding but still put in a decent enough showing.
Ideally I want to be down to slightly under my target weight of 73kgs the night before so I can scoff some pasta. It'd be great if you could weigh in the night before but alas you cant (unless theyve changed it this year at the last minute) and you weigh in at 8am on the morning of the competition with the contests starting at around 10am.
